It's been a long while since I have felt that we could trust our credit/debit processor, however, GDPay has been a big help in restoring our confidence! We signed up with GDPay 6 months ago and have been very happy with them. We are saving money, the monthly statement is easy to read, and we know exactly what we are being charged for. We are extremely happy with GDPay. We were with Intuit for a year and were completely mislead about their fees. Intuit quoted us 2% but never were told about other fees that added up to 4%. With GDpay everything is explained, when I have a question, I get a fast response and my fee is around 2-1/2% which is great.

Our previous merchant account provider, Sam's Club (First Data), charged us an average effective rate (for the previous calendar year) of 4.11% or about $740 a month. Our first full month statement from GDPay had an effective rate of 2.39%, a possible savings of $316 (it's impossible to know what First Data would have charged for these same transactions, but without a doubt it would have been a lot more). Assuming a year's worth of billings and everything stays constant (probably not valid assumptions but it's the best that can be done at this early date), this works out to $3,800 in savings for a year! I'm embarrassed for staying with First Data for so long. For what it is worth, we never had any problems with their service (other than having to call every year to dispute that stupid PCI fee - hint...they cave easily on it). In doing the research for this change, Kevin Yox was very patient answering all the questions. He seemed like a friendly and up front guy who got us approved in two days.

In my search for a new CC processing company and equipment I found information about CardFellow and GDPay. Armed with a little knowledge and research I did on-line on YouTube and Google, I came across this article Tiered Pricing VS. Interchange Plus (http://www.cardfellow.com/blog/tiered-pricing-vs-interchange-plus/) - the article/blog made a lot of sense to me so I decided to sign up for services with GDPay. After 6months I was told that an audit would be completed through CardFellow based on my CC processing to make sure I was getting the proper rate. Our audit was just completed after 6 months and everything looks great. I have to say the representatives at CardFellow and GDpay have been excellent, transparent, and very professional. I would highly recommend their services if you are a start-up or have been in business for years. Don't pay the Stupid Tax and get educated about your options! The company that I was with before ripped me off with tiered pricing, used leased equipment (CC machine, PIN pad and check reader) and a 3 year contract.

Keep in mind that I do not have extensive experience with GDpay and that this review is only a reflection of my 35min phone interaction with Kevin today to inquire about getting on board with them. I asked about Global Payments Inc. (which they DBA as GDpay)'s security breach several years back and see how my client's information will be protected. I asked about the contracts that GDpay has with other companies and its hard inquiry on credit report during application process. Kevin's answer did not fully address my questions and often sounded rude. He pointed out that all the pricing here on CardFellow does not include virtual terminal fee. He then adjusted the quote leading to the higher rate. Their base % rate might be attractive but I am not sure if I am convinced they are of good customer service. Maybe there's other hidden things they did not let us know. For starters, I was informed by adding a virtual terminal, there's more monthly fee, batch fee, and per transaction fee. Who knows if their rate will be the same years down the road. Kevin ended the phone call passive aggressively by implying to me not to waste his time.

Just reviewed my first month's processing statement and my overall fees were a full percent less than my prior ”discount” processor. All is good, and deposits are prompt. I am happy with our decision to switch
