The rates are great but this company is not organized and customer service is slow and communication is very poor. We initialized set up on 3/27/15 and as of today's date 8/7/15 our account still has problems. The CC machines that we paid for were not set up according to the order and we had to ship them back more than once for additional programming. Also, the daily settlement programming was set up one way for credit and another way for debit, making the monthly statements a bookkeeper's nightmare. Finally got that straightened out. Sill waiting on the return of our second reprogrammed CC machine after starting this process weeks ago. This programming should have been done on an emergency basis with the machine being shipped back by overnight courier. Communication is terrible! We don't get updated information unless we call them. Upon calling today, we learned that our reprogrammed machine has been shipped but we will have to wait to hear back from them to get tracking information. Really? We were not notified that it had even been shipped. They don't acknowledge receipt of emails unless we call and ask if they received them. The account representative that in March said would be with us for the life of the account, no longer works for the company, so they may have employee turnover issues. If you want customer service, you better call before 2pm Pacific time because they work on East Coast time and do not offer customer service after 5pm their time. They do have after hours tech support, but they should have customer service available during business hours in all USA time zones. So far, I'll say it was the wrong decision in choosing PayHub as our provider. But I'm hoping that will change once all the programming quirks are worked out. They need to get their act together in customer service or I will be once again looking for another provider. UPDATE: We received verification that our CC machine has been shipped, but they sent it UPS Ground, so we'll get it a week from now (traveling from NJ to CA). This should have been an urgent overnight shipment! Another example of the poor quality of their customer service.

First, thank you Cardfellow.com! Easy to compare the interchange rate plus offers. I do my homework and I wanted a solid company (someone I can call and get on the phone) and good rates. There were 2 companies here on CardFellow that had excellent rates. They were so close in their rates and both are solid companies, it was hard to decide. However, my deciding factor was the cancellation agreement that Payhub provides - easy to understand, not a bunch of legal language, just straight forward. Dan at Payhub has been a great help! I wanted to change over the holidays and be operational by Jan 1 for a smooth cutoff of my former processor. They got on the ball and had me up and running, everything programmed and ready to go. Later I found out that I owned my terminals and they worked with me on getting those up and going. Dan has been great to work with and made the transition much more easier that I could have expected. I'm up and running and will provide an update at the end of the month when I get my first statement. But all is great for now and my rates are cut by more than half! UPDATE: I've had Payhub for 6 months now. Everything still working great. Customer service has been exceptional. UPDATE: Audit just came back after 1 1/2 years of doing business. Rates are unchanged and they are as agreed upon. No other hidden fees.

We've had some issues with our terminal not accepting Costco credit cards, and the customer service has not been super helpful when dealing with it. I don't like receiving paper statements AND being charged for them - there should be an option for e-mailed pdf statements.

The issue I have with PayHub is that the settlement time is not 1 day and has in some cases been 3 days.
