*** The last day of service for the Leaf POS is October 1, 2015, as per the note of the company's Web site. ***

The tablet-based Leaf point-of-sale (POS) system is a feature-rich solution for payment processing and business management that connects with most major U.S. credit card processors. Merchants can accept major credit and debit cards, start tabs, allow customers to add tips, and more. Leaf even accepts gift cards and PayPal mobile wallet payments, ensuring customers can pay in whatever way is most convenient for them.

The Android-based Leaf tablet features a secure built-in card reader in a rugged, durable device. The 7" tablet provides a generous screen perfect for tableside ordering and checkout. Users can also process complimentary items, issue discounts, and process voids.

The Leaf system offers a range of employee management features. Managers can assign employee job codes, set up PIN access for employees, and set permissions for each employee. Additionally, the system lets employees clock in and out, and provides employee activity tracking by individual user. Leaf supports an unlimited number of users.

For restaurants, Leaf provides easy customization of orders and the ability to add notes to kitchen tickets. Servers can quickly and conveniently list special requests for meals, ensuring customers get exactly what they order and increasing customer satisfaction.

Additionally, merchants can take advantage of reporting and accounting options, including sales and revenue reports, individual transaction reports, employee activity, discount reporting, petty cash reports, and more. The Leaf system also provides information on earnings, labor stats, and pay rates. Managers can also set and edit employee schedules. Merchants can easily view top selling items, edit pricing, and create detailed reports in LeafBusiness, the system’s cloud-based back office portal. Data can be easily imported into several accounting applications.

Leaf offers several bundle options that include devices to create a full point-of-sale solution. Leaf offers the following bundles:
