Restaurant Maid Review

For credit card acceptance, Restaurant Maid integrates with several credit card processors, including Mercury, X-CHARGE, MerchantWare, and ChargeItPro. Unfortunately, this does limit your options, as you won’t be able to use Restaurant Maid with other companies.

Restaurant Maid software offers a variety of features specifically designed for the needs of the food service industry.

Floor Plan Management
The host or hostess job just got easier with Restaurant Maid’s customizable floor plans with bird’s-eye-views to easily manage guest seating. 

Order Types
Whatever type of food service you offer, you can take advantage of easy order entry for takeout, delivery, or dine-in guests. Orders can be entered by scanning barcodes, using a keyboard, or using a touchscreen, offering a variety of methods that can work with your particular business.

Coupons, Taxes, and Other Functions
Restaurant Maid gives you the capability to create, print, and process coupons and gift certificates to your restaurant or bar. You can also split checks for guests who prefer to pay individually or process refunds if you need to make amends. Additionally, the software can be configured to automatically compute tax for almost any location.

Employee Management
An optional employee time clock can integrate with payroll systems, allowing easy schedule tracking. Access to Restaurant Maid features can be customized by employee, ensuring that your workers only have access to the functions they’re authorized for.

Inventory Management
Restaurant Maid helps you control inventory by offering the option to track inventory that’s stored in multiple locations, utilize supplier management screens, run low inventory reports, and more.

Reporting

Restaurant Maid software offers the ability to run a variety of reports to help manage your business. Available reports include daily, monthly, and annual financial reports; financial reports by product, customer, department, or employee; profit reports; low stock reports; business traffic, and more. Businesses can easily create custom reports as well. Additionally, Restaurant Maid offers options to create, print, and track invoices. Report information can be exported to Excel for reconciling with other information.

Accessories

To enhance the functionality of your software and turn your computer into a more effective point-of-sale solution, Restaurant Maid is compatible with many optional accessories, including barcode scanners, receipt printers, electronic cash drawers, card swipers, and weight scales.

Alexandria Computers, makes of Restaurant Maid, doesn’t sell accessories itself, so you’ll need to purchase those from an equipment seller. Many different brands of peripherals may be compatible with Restaurant Maid software. 

Pricing

Restaurant Maid is currently priced at $99. Costs for accessories and for processing credit and debits cards are additional separate charges. Accessories and processing are not available directly through Alexandria Computers, and will need to be purchased from another source.
