CPN telemarketers consistently leave voicemail messages saying they need to discuss reducing clearing rates, apparent risk issues with my merchant account, and other misleading messages to suggest that you must return their calls. All lies. They have no way of knowing any details about this account, but apparently are trained to say dishonest and misleading statements to get decision makers to respond. If this isn't illegal, it should be. I would never do business with a company that condones this fraudulent sales/marketing practice.

CPN has to be one of the shadiest middle men out there. They will randomly raise your rates and add "Value Added" services to your statement. The latest one that they added for me this month is Pivotal One for $9.95 a month. Stay away at all costs. I'll be looking for a more reputable company though CardFellow.

Capital Processing Network was acquired by Pivotal Payments in March of 2014. After the acquisition Pivotal Payments rebranded the company as “CPN.” The businesses practices of Pivotal Payments have been less than exemplary over the years, so there's no reason why we should expect anything different from CPN.
