After 10 years you cancelled me? And you're holding 10% of my money for 6 months? Plus, crazy big fees that creep up! Don't use this company.

We have been charged over $1100 in processing fees in one month for just over $15K in sales for that same month. The hidden fees have added approximately $200-$400 per month to the amount they withdraw and those fees often exceed what the payment actually is for processing the credit card. Including all fees on my statement, the average they withdrawal per transaction ends up being 7.5%! This company is unethical and secretive and it's disturbing they are still in business.

Do not use this company. Customer service is horrible. Won't warn you anything about any fee's. Took $800 just for fee's without any prior explanation or notifications

They will never cancel your service! We have been sending them termination request forms for 7 months now and they've not done anything about it. We tried calling them to see what's the hold up, every time the wait time for calling them is at least 50 mins. They just have me waiting and keep transferring me to a different rep and always end up saying they'll call me back. I've never received a callback from them. 7 months since our first termination request and nothing has been resolved.

This company is the worst -- working with them, they'll bill you silently behind the scenes for years. What's more, their prices will go up, without any more usage on your end, so you secretly end up paying 5x the amount. And at the end? They charge you for 2+ more months, even after you cancel.

EVO is purely a rip off! Misguided and lied too. Quarterly fees charged and not informed off. Supposedly no cancellation fee, LIE! don't let them have access to you business account!

I would rate EVO at ZERO stars if it were possible. The actions EVO has taken during COVID are downright predatory. I work with a nonprofit theatre that has been doing its best to just stay open, and your company arbitrarily decides to keep 10% of all proceeds in escrow - even from donations, with absolutely no indication of when we can get that money back. Our theatre had not even ever had a chargeback. You should be ashamed of yourself. Businesses beware before signing up with EVO.

This company is a bureaucratic nightmare for customer service. The different departments within do not communicate whatsoever with each other. Good luck getting any issues resolved with this processor. Find someone else. Completely dysfunctional.

Cancelled this 3 years ago. It never got cancelled. I saw a fee of about $30 a month and assumed it was a bank fee. On 6-1 got charged $102.10 - I have cancelled 3 times since - still being charged $102.10 per month. Horrible company!!

We've been using EVO Payments (originally PowerPay) for over a decade. Initially, our experience was positive, with fair rates and good customer support. However, once they were purchased by Deutsche Bank and rebranded as EVO Payments, our processing fees began to climb quickly. Then came the random monthly and annual fees, to the point that we got really frustrated. Stay away from EVO by all means and measures. They are a bunch of glorified thieves.
