They can raise your rate every year. My rate has more than doubled while I have been processing with them. Also they can also sign you up for as many $100/month services as they want and all they have to do is give you 30 days to cancel it. They do t even have to tell you. They just signed up ALL of their customers for a $50/month crap service that nobody should want.

I agreed to 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. Come to find out they sent me to a third party who was taking close to 30% of my sales! I never agreed or was told. They have been stealing from my small business since I opened. Also there are numerous “hidden fees”.

I have only used them for 4 days, then they closed my account saying my business is at risk so they can't keep my service. They also rejected all the payments on the last day of the service, and basically told me to recharge the customers I had on that day, I could not do that so I took the loss. I returned the equipment few days later, and a month later they still charged me the monthly fee for using their service on previous month. Such the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Stay away from these scammers! My account rep guaranteed that I was only going to pay $9.85 a month but when I got the statement, I get charged $21.80 just in undisclosed fees plus the $9.85. After speaking to him, he promised to process a refund for $21.80 a month ago and I am still waiting. Also starting the month, I just got charged an additional $31.80 in just fees and I had no sales processed. He stopped answering emails and calls. Terrible experience!

They let my account go inactive, with my card & bank account on file without telling me. Then they charged me to re-instate it. They still accepted payment from my customer, and then flagged the transaction as spam. They held it for +2 months without telling me why, and I had to call multiple times to get it to go back into my account. The hours on the phone weren't worth it for the low rate. Hopefully your experience isn't like this, but mine was.

Be careful...I was supposed to have a minimum $25 a month charge but instead they were billing us $92.90 regardless if there was little activity. They roll all types of additional fees into your bill like company.com for $19.95 a month and we never signed up for the service. They make it very difficult to shut down your account as well.

Started with Patrick Rogers telling lies, lies, and more lies! I have no desire to go any further into detail but this company is deceptive as they come. Do not charge too much (watch out if business is good), they will freeze your funds for "security audits." I have a confirmation that not only was my account ultimately not approved, all the mean time allowing me to rack up charges which were later frozen, but even after the account is closed they continue to pull service fees and other fees of no explained source out of my checking account....nothing you can do except change the account number!!!

I am stupid for doing business with them. Started with teaser rates. I have had real bad experiences some identical to other reviewers, plus more. Now 5.6% effective rate. 6.8% non-qualified. They even signed me up for an internet account access service without my opting in. Did not know it until I started getting $29.95 deductions from a third party out of my checking account. My card volume is substantial, I have excellent credit, never ever had a chargeback. The only reason for this must be that they try to get away with whatever they can and they are crooks. Do not even think about using them!

From the very start the salesperson was very misleading at best. For instance, we were told that all fees would be taken out at the end of the month at one time and that we would get a statement explaining all charges. Never happened. Fees were taken out of every single charge, creating a bookkeeping nightmare. Worst of all was that after about one month into our contract with them we completed a very large job. The customer paid with a credit card at the time of pick up. It was right at Christmas time and we had gone on vacation a day or two later. While on vacation, I start getting notifications that payments I had made were bouncing. Flagship had determined that the amount that the customer paid needed to be reviewed because it was too much and refused to put it into our account even though they had no problem taking the money from our customer for the work that we did. During our repeated attempts to the customer service number we were told over and over that "That's the way all merchant services work" and "we are not responsible for any of your bounced items." They would not release the money into our account until we sent them copies of all of the paperwork for the invoice that they had stolen the money for, then would not release it for about 3 days while they "verified that it was a legitimate charge." I pray no one ever gets stuck using this "company."

AVOID FLAGSHIP MERCHANT SERVICES. They are a fraudulent company and will rip you off. Everything is non-qualified and they take 4%. Filing a lawsuit currently because of this. Do not trust these crooks, they are all liars.
