I'm the type of reviewer who sees a 5 as truly excellent, not just good. So my rating means that I am very happy with Netcom so far (just one month, and I will update my review if necessary as I get more data). If they didn't already know the answer, Netcom's staff took the time to find answers to my questions and called me back, promptly. We are a smaller lodging establishment, and there were a few intricacies in our procedures that Netcom needed to research to give me accurate answers that are best for us in our particular case, and they did. We had our own machine that needed to be reprogrammed, and they took care of that successfully. Some issues with initial setup/programming (e.g., the format of our receipts, tax and other data entry) needed to be adjusted, and were done so promptly. Even with all that, overall the application and setup process went very smoothly (and they weren't pushy about it when I took a little time getting the application back to them). Fees so far are as just as advertised, clear and honest, and are lower in total than the three-tiered rates we had before. If I could review CardFellow's support too, I would also give it a full 5 with no qualification. Ben at CardFellow has taken the time to personally answer questions and share knowledge on the confusing, sometimes seemingly deliberately obscure intricacies of credit card processing fees/rates. It has taken us years to get beyond a bad experience with trying another not-so-honest processor, and various salesmen who clearly were misrepresenting their rate structures. CardFellow gave us the confidence to finally try again, and we are happy so far that we have.
