ZT Sliver Pay Review

You probably haven’t heard of newcomer Sliver Pay in your search for credit card processing, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be a good fit for your business. Here we’ll give you the details on Sliver Pay, including rates and fees, contract terms, equipment options, reviews, and more.

Who is ZT Sliver Pay?

ZT Sliver Pay, or just Sliver Pay, is a newer payment processor, coming onto the scene in 2015. The company is based in Oklahoma and is a registered ISO and MSP of Fifth Third Bank.

What services does Sliver Pay offer?

Sliver Pay offers several basic services to cover your processing needs. They’ll help you take credit cards (both in person and online) as well as process checks, get a cash advance, or sell gift cards to your customers.

Businesses that need "specialty" online services, such as recurring billing, card updaters, or level 3 processing can utilize ZT Sliver Pay’s gateway solution to accommodate those needs.

Card Acceptance

Take major credit and debit cards, including MasterCard, Discover, Visa, American Express, and JCB, when you process with Sliver Pay. Next day funding is available for qualified businesses, with special approval.

EBT (SNAP) Acceptance

If you want to take EBT cards (SNAP) at your business, ZT Sliver Pay can get you set up for that. They charge 3 cents per EBT/SNAP transaction (only available if you process cards through Sliver Pay) in addition to a monthly EBT equipment maintenance fee

Check Processing

Some customers still like to pay with checks. If you have those customers, you can take checks securely and conveniently with Sliver Pay’s check processing services.

Ecommerce

Looking to sell online? Sliver Pay works with multiple gateways. You may be able to keep using your existing gateway service, or Sliver Pay can set you up with a gateway account through popular options including Authorize.Net.

For businesses that offer memberships or monthly "clubs," ZT Sliver Pay can set you up with recurring biling options to securely charge your customers on a set schedule. Some options allow you to use automatic card updater services, helping to reduce declined payments caused by outdated card on file details.

Cash Advance

If you need funding for business expenses, Sliver Pay offers cash advances to qualified businesses. You can use the money for many different things, including marketing, equipment purchases, expanding your store, and more.

Gift Cards

Take advantage of the popularity of gift cards and sell them at your business. Sliver Pay can get you set up to offer reloadable gift cards to encourage repeat visits, or entice customers to purchase the cards as gifts for loved ones.

What about processing equipment?

If you need equipment, Sliver Pay can help you get set up with the right credit card terminal or POS system. There’s no charge for installing equipment. If you already have equipment, Sliver Pay might be able to work with it, eliminating the need to get new devices.

The company offers countertop terminals from major brands including Verifone and Ingenico.

Speaking of new devices, ZT Sliver Pay offers an equipment maintenance plan, where you pay monthly for equipment and are eligible for free replacements if equipment fails and free upgrades if new regulations make your current equipment obsolete.

What does it cost?

Sliver Pay uses interchange plus pricing, which is good news when you’re trying to secure a competitive processing solution. They offer 3 different packages listing the costs you’ll pay on top of interchange:

Basic Pro Advanced
Monthly fee: $10 Monthly fee: $15 Monthly fee: $20
Rate: 0.5% Rate: 0.35% Rate: 0.2%
Per transaction fee: $0.15 Per transaction fee: $0.12 Per transaction fee: $0.10

Sliver Pay doesn’t provide any information about which businesses qualify for which package.

Of course, published rates are subject to change, and things might look a little different for your business. To find out what Sliver Pay will cost you for your specific business, the easiest thing to do is request a quote from your CardFellow account.

When is customer support available?

Sliver Pay customer service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day by phone. If you have an equipment problem and are on the Sliver Pay equipment maintenance plan, Sliver Pay can usually resolve it by replacing your equipment within 48 hours.

Reviews

Sliver Pay is very new to the payments industry and doesn’t have a big reputation online yet. They have no reviews with Yelp or Ripoff Report, and don’t currently have a profile with the Better Business Bureau. As of November 2015, Sliver Pay doesn’t include reviews or testimonials on their website.
