What cards can I take using Square One Business?

What methods can I use to take payments?

You can take cards in person using any one of several options. You can use traditional countertop credit card machines, full point of sale systems (including modern tablet-based options) or handheld terminals that you can take with you around your store.

Online

For e-commerce (online) processing, Square One Business can get you set up to securely take payments over the internet. Recurring billing options are also available for those situations where you need to bill customers for goods or services on a regular, set schedule.

Taking payments when your customer isn’t physically at your location is possible with Square One Business’s phone and mail order processing options.

On the Go

Mobile credit card processing is great for businesses that are frequently on the go. Gift and Loyalty Cards

Gift and loyalty cards are two increasingly popular ways to secure new and repeat customers. Square One Business can get you set up to sell gift cards to redeem at your location or to put a loyalty program in place to reward regular customers.

Check Processing

Even though many customers have switched to using credit or debit for purchases, some still prefer to use checks. If you’d like to accept checks, Square One Business offers an electronic check conversion option. You’ll accept a paper check and use a check scanner or imager to convert it into an electronic transaction, meaning increased security and faster funding.

Merchant Cash Advances

You can get access to working capital with Square One Business’s merchant cash advance program. Unlike a traditional loan, merchant cash advances are offered against your future credit card sales. You’ll repay the money through a percentage of your daily credit card sales. Can I get equipment from Square One Business?

You can, but Square One Business doesn’t specify if you’ll be purchasing equipment outright, or if you’ll be leasing. CardFellow recommends always purchasing equipment outright, as leasing equipment is a costly mistake.

Like most processors, Square One Business doesn’t publish rates or fees on its website. Not surprisingly, when looking for reviews of Square One Business, you’re likely to come across reviews for Square. (Remember, different companies!) It’s difficult to find reviews about Square One Business for processing and appears there aren’t many available online. Additionally, Square One Business doesn’t include testimonials on its website.
