Stay away from this company. Fees are extremely high compared to other providers. After being with this company for six years they charged me $495 cancellation fee.

We tried processing our CC payments in early 2016 but did not like the way they where being done. Stopped using their card reader and went to Square. I have called and have tried to stop the auto draft from our checking account for months to no avail. It has now doubled in price and they do not process anything for us. Now I finally got ahold of someone who will talk to me (and by the way the online chat does not work either) only for her to tell me they will not refund money they have been scamming from my account for over a year. All I can say is stay away from this company. RUN RUN RUN.

I cancelled my service because this company doesn't come through on its promises and now they are trying to charge me almost $6,000 to leave. Cayan on the other hand has been extremely accommodating and has no cancelation fee. Vantiv is a 100 percent nightmare. Trust me on this.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Stay away! Even their own employees are told of the “Liquidated Damages”. They tried to gouge me for $7,348, then backed down to $5,000, then $1,700 then $1,100 and only if I removed any mention from them from Social Media. It feels like paying a ransom.

I wish I read all the bad reviews here before we signed up. Stuck with them for almost 3 more years. Bad experiences. Salesman promised throught email that they will subsidize/reimburse 2 terminals but now they said no because they covered EDC fee already over that amount regardless of whatever the salesman wrote in the email. Every time we have problems, it takes them a good 30 minutes just to get through same basic stuff and point fingers back and forth between Vantiv and Aldelo. Some minor issues still exist now (5 months) and we don't know when they are going to fix it.

We have been with this company for over 8 years. After reading reviews here alone, it's no surprise and I feel little better that we are not the only ones. This company has caused us a lot of frustration. Here is our latest issue with them. We received a call from one of our customers complaining that they were double charged by our business. We looked at our records and we have no records of a charge for the specified date. We called Vantiv on 12/19/2016 and we were told that on the 9th and the 10th of December 2016 there were few keyed in card entries processed that showed in our account on their system. All keyed in entries were made at 00:00 time totaling 671.85 from various customer cards that have previously been legitimately processed here. We checked our records here, we have no records for such charges or settlement for the amount of 671.85. We called our bank and ask them to check and see if the amount of 671.85 have been deposited and we were informed that such deposit does not exist. We contacted Vantiv again and asked who made the keyed in entries and where. It is not possible to key in few credit card charges in less than a second. After several attempts to get an answer someone at Vantiv advised us that our account issues will be submitted to a different department for further in-depth investigation since he had no explanation at this time. The Representative also said that they will call us and let us know of their findings tomorrow. This was on Dec. 19th 2016 and we have not received a call yet. In a meantime, one of the customers that was double charged has disputed the charge of 240.75 and Vantiv has charged back our account for that amount. This is just the latest. We have had issues with undisclosed contract pages they have referenced and we have no records of, additional monthly fees added, etc. We just discovered today by running a quote on this site that we could have saved close to $650.00 for last month alone if we had a different provider. If anyone has any suggestions or have experienced a similar problem please share it and advice us how we can get help... It will be greatly appreciated.

I am Brad Johnson owner of Johonson Tree service. We have been using this company for 15 years. The first thing they did was charge us over 1000.00 for a machine lease. The bank informed us later that we could have purchased it for 200.00 from them. Then they charged us a fee for paying early. Several years later we tried to switch companies and Fifth Third Bank told us they would close our accounts if we did. We started out paying $5.00 per month, now it's $50.00. We called to close the account today. They informed me that after 15 years we are being charged $295.00 for closing account early. They also said because we didn't cancel before the 25th of the month the account won’t be closed until the end of the next month and monthly fees will apply. They also charged an annual fee and a fee for yearly compliance. Their rates are high and they charge extra for non-qualifying cards. Our new company has a much lower flat rate for all cards we accept. They charge $25.00 per month that covers all extra fees. The machine is free and there's no contract. Without a doubt this is one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. Good riddance.

I signed up four accounts with Vantiv in February of 2016. 6 months into my contract, Vantiv began charging me monthly fees for statements and maintenance on each account. My contract clearly states the cost of both is $0. Why this is happening is a mystery. Contacted Mike x5113 and he was going to take care of it. Left 3 voicemails requesting a call back on HIS voicemail and haven't heard back. Spoke to Erin and I have to sign all new paperwork so they can look into it and check to see if it is a mistake - but no promises. Emailed the sales guy Andrew Carozza and he said I need to sign paperwork so it can be investigated. Emailed customerservice@vantiv.com and socialmedia@vantiv.com earlier today. Granted it hasn't been too long but considering what I have already went through to try to get this rectified and clearly stated my issue in the email, this is totally unacceptable. Try to terminate and I'll get a termination fee. This is a racket. No matter how nice everyone is when you sign up, DON'T DO IT!

Aftet 11 years with vantiv, on an initial 12 month agreement, I cancelled in Sept. 2016. On my October bank statement from 5th 3rd Bank, I was shocked to see a debit of $295. I called to ask why, and was told it was an early termination fee. I will fight this the best I can, but know that "possession is 9/10ths the law". I am furious and would never ever recommend Vantiv to anyone.
