Global Payments Integrated (formerly OpenEdge) Review

Horrible customer service on billing side. Very long hold times (30-60min). Many "gotcha" fees - carefully check every monthly statement.

I agree with all previous reviews. Open edge, now named Global Payment is the only company that has interface with medical practice management system in my office. They are charging more than my lenders interest payment for collecting my money! They have drafted bogus fees, claiming that those are mandatory fees posed by government. When I stopped using them, on less than $300, they debited $500 from my account.

This Company is a big scam. They charged more than 6% for credit card processing! They will not give me back a refund on the over charges surcharges!

I was just cursed at and called names by a hack named Brian in technical. I expressed dissatisfaction in trying to get my newest location set up on overnight deposits. They are fired! I am changing to another company and OpenEdge just lost $2.5 million in annual processing.

Masterclass scammers. They add services and charges to your statements without your knowledge, insist that these are "mandatory per the regulations" ..The customer service reps are car salesmen types who make a commission from whatever additional charges they can fleece off of customers.

I fully agree with everyone else who reviewed them. They slide in new fees on a regular basis and do not notify nor explain. I just closed my account after 11 years of using them and was told I should have had an "account review' every quarter. I never had one. They are thieves.

Openedge seized my deposit for March just as the pandemic crippled the Economy. They refused to forward the funds to me and to refund back to my customers. When processors should be supporting their customers, Openedge withdrew processing fees from my bank for transactions they are still in possession of. As club members issued chargebacks this company withdrew additional funds from my bank, essentially forcing me to pay twice as they made off with the original funds.

I've been in the restaurant business for 31 years and this is the worst credit card processing company I have ever used. No next day funding, sometimes 3 days before you get your deposit and zero customer service.

Been with Ope Edge (and before it, Pay Pros) for years. Our costs have quadrupled in last four or five years and it's at a tipping point for us now, 2018. It seems to be nothing but price gouging - no other explanation is plausible for the seemingly never-ending increases. We are looking for another processor.
